When I go out to jog in the early morning, I’m always stalked by a vehicle.  No, not by a white paneled van with tinted windows or other stereotypical vehicles of sorts.  It’s a Pikachu car!

You know, those yellow VW Beetles that have Pikachu attributes like ears and a tail stuck to them with a vinyl sticker of the Pokémon logo stuck to the side doors that were used heavily to promote the franchise 15 years ago around the turn of the millennium.  Well, someone owns one near where I live and it’s always driving around early in the morning when I go out to jog.  Sad thing is this vehicle has lost its shine.  Its color is very dull and desperately needs a polish and some new vinyls.  I’ve never got a glimpse of the driver, but I believe is an aging Ash Ketchum; slowly stalking the area for unsuspecting victims to snag so he can continue his quest to “catch them all.”

If this blog is not updated in a while, this might be because I was captured and placed into a large Poké Ball.

'Bout time!

August 29, 2014 | 23:53 | Written by: snake911

I’m glad I finally got that feature going.  It’s been something I’ve been planning to do for a while.  Actually, I was hoping to start it in July, but was nervous about all the back end changes I would need to do to make it a separate type of content from the regular blog posts and with a different layout.  Speaking of which, as I said in a post shortly after this website launched, its layout and design is basically taken from another website.  This feature is also something I’m taking from that site, too.  Oh well.  They say imitation is sincerest form of flattery.  They also say good artists copy but great artists steal.  With all this theft going on, this means I could become the greatest virtuoso of all the internet.  Or that I’m the biggest dirtbag of all the internet.

But to be clear: the content is all original.  grammar, spellling errors, and all.

Nerd weekend 2

August 24, 2014 | 14:02 | Written by: snake911

How about that.  My brother went back to Frank and Sons again this weekend and bought me that Zoro poster I was talking about in the previous post.  Now I need to find a spot to hang this rad poster.

And we’re back

August 21, 2014 | 18:04 | Written by: snake911

Think of it as a grand re-opening.

A little behind schedule, but I’ve pretty much taken care of all the scary-massive changes for the CMS.  Actually, I did a bit more than what I originally planned.  Not only did I add the new stuff for upcoming content, but I also updated the CMS and fixed the home page.  You, the end user, won’t see much changed from your side, but this fix does tidy things up and makes some tasks easier to perform.

There are still some minor adjustments I need to do, so you might see some weird stuff happening to page layouts over the next few days, but content should begin to trickle back on to the way it normally is.

Pardon our dust

New content will be nonexistent for the next two weeks or so as I'll be performing maintenance to the backend of the CMS to make way for new sections for the website.  It will also act as a learning process, so that's why it'll take some time for this to occur.

In the meantime, check out the links page or…i dunno, whatever.

The Google-est of doodles

July 12, 2014 | 22:48 | Written by: snake911

As the World Cup continues on, the Google doodles on their home page get wackier and wackier.  Possibly the greatest doodle I’ve ever seen was this one where two cars are passing a soccer ball between each other with their hoods flipping up to hit the ball.  That was from a few days ago, but they get weirder as one doodle has aliens watching the game to another one having the letter ‘r’ wanting to shave the beard from the letter ‘G’ in Google.  I’m guessing the Google doodle creator is going bonkers and is feeling the stress to keep up with the progression of the World Cup.
